I have not written for quite a while, there has been so much going on. Tezz will be going in to the 7th grade and she is really excited about that, the "big junior high". The thing that she is excited about the most is the lockers and being able to go to school with friends that has that went to a different elementary school.

She made the All Star team in softball and practices 5 days a weeks for about 3 hours....she is exhausted by the time that she gets home. She has always played in field and I think that she will be playing some out field this summer (she has a arm that would knock your socks off). She is bummed that she won't be playing much 1st base which is what she played during the regular season. But has a great additute about learning positions that she has not played before.

Tyson and Kimmy are doing great, they have a cute condo that they will be buying in the next year or so. Kimmy is excited that Marley will be going to the same elementary school that she went to. Marley is just growing so fast (if I had more time I would update the pictures) too much going on today) she has this giggle that just makes you smile for hours. I found this picture of Tyson when he was her age and they look so much a like (going to give the picture to Marley's mom to put in album next to Marley's).

We have a puppy now, our cat Susan passed away and Tezz has wanted a puppy for years but Susan ruled the house and we could not get another pet while we had her. The puppy is a Shuh Tzu (minature) named Fizz. She is adorable, and very energetic. She has been a great asset to our family. She loves to follow Kip around the yard when he is working, she has the tinniest little legs that she almost has to hop....pretty funny site. She does love to run through the grass just before we mow since it is higher and she truly does look like a little bunny rabbit when she does that since she is so small she hops over the taller grass.

Kyle is doing great, he is working on his short stories to get his resume worked on so that he can get something published, I think that will happen here in the next few years. He calls himself the struggling writter. He has so many amazing ideas going on right now, told him the other day just focus on one at a time. He gets the story ideas from dreams and they are just there in his mind waiting to come out. I will have to post one of his latest. He has lost contact with the publisher that wanted to publish one of his books since he lost his phone and of course only had one contact phone # and it was on the phone, but, he did not want to publish a book yet, he wants to get his short stories together (really seperate) then eventually get them in one book. Good Luck Kyle!!!!! I knew since you were in elementary school you would be an author some day.

I love my job that I started in Dec. Wish I would have been here a long time ago! The only down side is that I am not able to take a lot of time off and I want to be able to go to Tezz All Star games so I missed the trip to Jackson Hole this year but Tezz and Kip had a blast. They probably loved it since I was not there to bug them about the "little things". Since our trip last year was 5 weeks we are ok to not have a big trip this year. We are planning our trip for next year though. I think it will be to Niagra, got to get Tezz to the 7 wonders of the world before she is 18. There are so many different 7 wonders of the world we have picked our own -- grabbing some from all the lists and going to the safer ones -- this would make 3. Leaning Tower of Piza in 2007, Great Barrier Reef in 2008. If we don't go to Niagra then we will miss a Wonder and go to Brazile -- we want to go down the Amazon and see the pink dolphines (I will have to see if this is a Wonder on a list). Our trips have been great for Tezz and knowing where the countries are and maybe help her in Geography classes.

I went to Wendover, NV with my mom to see John Michael Montgomer and to gamble a little. Did not win anything but had a blast. I don't do much with my mom so that was nice for me to have time with just her. Kip and Tezz spent the evening shopping of course. He loves to shop just as much as Tezz does. I don't like to shop like they do and I think they have a lot funner time without me. Kip started this "shop til you drop" thing with Tezz when she was just tinny and they would go without me and when I started going with them it just has not been as much fun for them....LOL.

Kimmy finally found a part time job that they have needed, she will be working after Ty gets off work a few hours a week. They do not want to have to leave Marley with anyone but family, which is smart. She is just growng so fast. Grandma (me) needs to get some fun things for her at the house now that she is wanting to do things other than just snuggle, I think that it is not as fun for her anymore and I still want to just snuggle. I will be out shopping today and I am hoping to get a few things. Kip is going to Nacar the end of the month for a week and Ty, Kimmy and the baby will be staying here to get Tezz to school so I have to get some things. All the things that I have are Tezz' stuff that we have put away and they are for when she gets older.

Kyle is doing good. I am going to have him come and stay one night when Kip is out of town, and Tezz has been inviting her neices and nephews to come and stay as well one of the nights that Kip is out of town, so much for a quiet weekend...LOL.

I have not been feeling too good lately, but I think that we finally know what it is wrong. I will et a confirmation next Tue. I do not like the pills that I am having to take and am counting the days to the last one. I can not get to sleep then I can not wake up....exhausting just thinking about it.

Kip and Tezz are at the Jazz game, hope that they had fun. I like to take her early so that she can get some autographes, she has been getting some for her friends now too. Tezz has a blast there so I think that we will continue to get the tickets each year. It is fun to take turns taking Tezz, she gets into the games and sometimes can not talk too good when she gets home. She screams so loud I feel bad for those that sit next to her....thank goodness they all know her so they know that they are in for a loud one.....LOL.

I thought that I would get to play wth Marley tonight but, something must of come up because the kids did not show up. She grows so fast, I just dont want to miss anything. She is just a joy. She is getting to the age now that she really knows what she wants. When she is at grandma's house she knows that it is just play, play, play and she will throw a BIG tantrum if grandma does not drop everything and just give her 100%....amazing that she knows at this age that, that is my job!! I just can not explain the feelings that she gives me. I love all my kids but this is different..kinda like all I get or have to do is just enjoy her, I dont get to be part of the harder things, just the fun things and that makes a big difference.

I will post some new pictures of the family. I will be some new ones of everyone including Kyle who is not on here yet but is in my heart always!!

Just spent a long time doing a post and I can not find the post. LOL boy I am not doing too good this morning. Not much to update, Job is doing great. Family is doing great. Marley is growing too fast I was hoping to see her a little more since they moved to almost just down the road from us.

Tezz started ice skaing lessons and will be doing volleyball again this year and she wants to play soccer too. That will keep her busy until softball season starts. I am not going to coach her this year. I think that she will do a lot better with a different coach. She tends to see me as mother not as coach and did not put it all out there. Hopefully she will play like she should she is a great player but, did not play her best last year. I felt bad because she really wanted to play on the all star team but, we were going on a 5 week vacation (all the games played during that time) so that would not have been an option for her. I will be looking into getting a pitching machine with the net to set up on the side of our house so that we can go play for a bit and hit some balls and she wants to practice pitching.

Kip is still thinking of selling the house and moving to a condo or a gated communittee that does the yard work and snow removal. I still love this house and it would be hard to move but, I will do what is best for us as a family. I want to move to a place that has good schools not over crowded and just dont think that there is a place is S Salt Lake that is like that??? Will have to look around.

Thanksgiving was a great day. We had Kips mom and step dad stay at the cabin with us and then our friends Phil and Michelle came for the weekend. Tezz had her own little spot up stairs with all her stuff set up to do pedicures and manicures, she had a blast...oh and she charged people a $1 to come up stairs...LOL grandpa was the only one that paid, she made $2 then she started letting him come up stairs without paying. We tried a new receipe with shrimp (I dont eat seafood) and froom what everyone said it was the best thing that they have tasted so I was told that is my new dish....I would not share the receipe with anyone but Michelle. I need to have something that I make for Kip's family that they do not cook as well, makes it funner. We had King crab, shrimp, and big hug roast the day after Thanksgiving and everyone was stuffed for the day after thanksgiving feast. I have not seen my little Marley for about 6 days and I miss her so much. I hope that I get to hold her tomorrow, she just does something for ya. I start my new job one week from tomorrow I hope that it works out I am really excited.

Today has been a busy day. I am trying to get a bunch of stuff reboxed and gone through and get rid of what we do not need/want anymore. I just took apart a multi-station exercise machine and hauled outside for it to be picked up tomorrow (that was a lot of work). I am going to go see if any of my friends are on POGO....my favorite.

Got a job offer today from Myriad Labs and accepted it, I am really excited about it. Kip took me out to eat tonight to celebrate. Now I can take some me time for a few weeks before I start.
